A bit about me... |
I've always loved development and field producing, and more recently have developed a passion for post producing and social media strategy and content creation, a skill I honed while working as a story producer at Dateline/Viceland on SBS Television.
I have produced stories about war, prisons, and politics, and have a particular interest in stories about gender and social justice issues. My feature documentary directing debut, My Home, Your War, followed a woman and her family through the war in Iraq over three years and was the recipient of many international awards. More recently, I was the producer for Hitting Home the AACTA and Walkley award winning series on domestic violence for ABC TV (2016). In the future, I'm interested in merging film making genres to make feature films/documentary series about the big social issues of our time that have a lasting social impact.
